Really excited to share my first ever iOS app here — it’s called Pact (’Habit Tracker: Pact’ on the App Store)
As someone who was looking to not only build good habits, but to break bad ones, I wasn’t able to quantify the ‘relapses’ — on days where I wasn’t able to stick to a habit, I’d go in a downward spiral, and though I was able to bounce back the next day — there was no way for me to quantify how much I slipped by; hence I decided to build Pact.
Pact’s unique check-in system allows you to add both ‘Successful’ and ‘Unsuccessful’ check-ins, which carry a score of +10 and -5, respectively. You can also enter multiple check-ins on the same day, which compounds the score.
The GitHub-inspired check-in grid gives you a visual understanding of how consistent you are with a habit — and the detailed graphs show how your score for a habit progressed over a bunch of different time periods.
