The numbers are fascinating. I kept some oddies like the sun one with both pins and giant ybcr jacks (from memory) because they are so odd. I kept one vga where I had like 4.
I now routinely chuck usb away unless I can show I don't have the combo, and even then it may be a keep one but which? Decision.
I curse camera makers. Nobody needed you to sub miniaturise your usb. I curse rechargeable device makers: the plethora of centre positive/negative and size/sex is ludicrous. Solved by wall warts and adapter sets.
I expect to add some more oddities: pci bus extenders, atx psu breakout stuff, molex stuff. Turns out those stable 5v and 12v are useful.
I kept one db9 and one Cisco serial and one rs232 for old times sake. I actually expect to use the usb to serial one day to rescue a sun ultra 10 with a dead MAC chip which can be recoded by serial console and then netboot.
