We built Betterlytics, a cookieless, privacy-first, and open source alternative to Google Analytics.

It’s designed for developers, startups, and privacy-conscious site owners who want meaningful analytics without cookies or having to show cookie banners. GDPR and PECR compliance are built-in by default.

Key features: - Cookieless by design – no banners needed - 100% open source (Rust backend, React dashboard) - No personal data collected — only anonymized and aggregated metrics - Self-host or use our managed cloud version - Real-time event tracking + user journey visualizations

We made this to address frustrations we had with analytics tools that either invade privacy or are too complex for small teams. Betterlytics is intuitive to use and offers a feature-rich dashboard for understanding your website traffic and user behavior.
