Turns out AI didn't solve all of our problems

I’m looking forward to the hard turn on corporate mindsets that AI didn’t actually solve all of their problems and humans have to be rehired to fix all the mistakes.

The "corporate mindset" struggles to see beyond next quarter's earnings report.

Eliminating human employees is like a wet dream. But they never bother to consider that their "employees" are known as "customers" or "consumers" to some other corp and vice versa.

Eliminating jobs shrinks the economic pie for just about every product with few exceptions (maybe food, clothing or housing).

If AI was actually capable of eliminating huge numbers of jobs, the end result would almost certainly be economic recession and long term decline --- which will shrink the bottom line for most corporations and their investors.

Capitalism is self limiting in the most brutal way possible --- it is it's own worst enemy.
