To me, the article seemed a mix of advert for private security services, and empty hand-wringing over inequities of wealth.
Has Auntie Beeb covered the real problems elsewhere? Historically, upgrading an iffy police force to Respected & Trusted status has taken a lot of competent, on-the-ground leadership. I've not heard of any British politician caring to do more than talk big on this.
