Why does Egypt get a free pass for just sitting there? Shouldn't they take in Gaza refugees?

After what the Palestinians did in Jordan, Lebanon and Syria? They caused civil war civil wars and terrorism. Why would Egypt take them in?
Egypt didn’t even do that in 1948 when they took control of Gaza

Interesting. That’s the first genocide I’ve heard of where the population increased during the genocide.
By the same logic:
Pearl harbour: 2k soldiers killed, 100k+ innocent civilians as retaliation.
Twin towers: 2k civilians killed, 1m+ innocent civilian casualties in the war on terror as retaliation
October 7th: 2k civilians killed, only 60k in retaliation, of which a good portion hamas fighters, and the rest fully supporting hamas and having elected them in democratic elections in 2006, where they preached literal genocide on Israel during their campaign.
Always funny how these definitions are rather arbitrary..

Huh? What kind of metric is that? How many have actually voted? What does it mean to pass such a resolution? What other resolutions this organization has passed in the past?
