I loved my IODD ST400 until it suddenly forgot how to encrypt/decrypt my drive with ~500 GB of data on it. There really needs to be some kind of recovery tool for when it gets corrupted.
Before getting the IODD drive, I was thinking of VeraCrypt, but I still prefer the IODD concept because the built-in encryption removes the OS from the equation.
