Tesla already buys wholesale electricity for it's charging network and so is leveraging that and it's brand/customer database to diversify and enter the reliable revenue stream that is domestic utility bills?

Perhaps Tesla share price isn't that silly if they are going to be so innovative in their thinking.

Being a domestic energy reseller is… not what you’d normally call a high margin business.

I think they'd have to majorly undercut the other suppliers to gain a lot of customers due to the bad (self) publicity of Musk. Also, Tesla are not known for good customer service, though there's plenty of examples of poor customer service amongst the gas and electric suppliers.

The sentiment in the UK is not that unhinged, and the incumbents are woeful. Current UK Govt may be the major obstacle?

Well, their car sales fell almost 60% in July, so it doesn't look like there's much pro-Musk sentiment around here.

Musk is part owner of Tesla, I wasn't aware he also had connections with Audi, BMW, Jaguar Land Rover, and all the other premium brands which have also seen a steep decline in sales in Europe and the UK?

Don' be fooled by your media of choice, sentiment towards Musk in the UK outside of a very niche crowd is mostly neutral.

Compared to what? What more reliable source of data are you using?

Also, I am not your bro.
