Qwant and Ecosia debut Staan, a European search index

The EC funds OpenWebSearch [0]. I wonder why there is pretty no commercial adoption, if this new endeavor actually makes sense.

Waiting for a new alternative index and then having to read "Designed specifically for LLMs and generative AI agents" is just really disappointing.
