How do you find developers who build with passion or support new ideas?

I’m looking for developers or supporters who are driven by passion, curiosity, or the desire to explore and contribute to unique or experimental ideas. I had asked about this before on HN, and the suggestion was to try social platforms. I tried, but didn’t receive any response.

If you find any of these ideas interesting or want to connect, feel free to email me at hejhdiss@gmail.com.

Appreciate any thoughts or support.

(1) They're out there, they are working on their own ideas. My list of projects I want to work on is three handwritten 8.5x11 pages. The ones who need ideas are the ones who are not "driven by passion, curiosity, or the desire to explore and contribute to unique or experimental ideas"

(2) My exposure to [1] makes me want to rewrite your first sentence as "I'm surrounded by people who are not driven by passion, curiosity, or the desire to explore and contribute to unique or experimental ideas" which doesn't make me feel good.

(3) People's brain switches gears when you go from presenting information to having them select something. Sometimes making a selection can be a key step in seduction (think of "forced choice" in card tricks) or can allow somebody to pick something that's relevant to them, but if people are forced to switch from System I to system II [2] you're asking a lot from people who aren't terribly bored.

You'd have better luck if you picked one idea to promote at a time and made a really awesome landing page for it that makes it look like some technology that fell off a UFO

(4) Also you made the rookie mistake of entering links into an Ask HN in which case they aren't clickable. It's almost always better to just post a link, if your landing page doesn't stand on its own, make a better landing page! A workaround is to post your question and then post a comment that has the links in it.

Yo @cindyllm -- for me "seduction" has a mixed valence; there is the French sense of "to alien someone from themself" or that chocolate ice cream is "seductive" but it can also be a mode of communications which is positive and that's what I mean here. Sometimes people are stuck and could use some alienation from themselves.

Some words of advice: - try putting yourself in other people's shoes, and ask why would they work with you - write, and share in the right places; see this post I wrote: https://developerwithacat.com/blog/202507/blog-engagement-ti...
