Straight up, if your AI company requires 996 scheduling to succeed, then your AI that’s supposed to eliminate every job forever, sucks.

Any AI startup demanding such onerous work schedules should be a huge red flag to investors and workers, since the whole sales pitch of AI is to reduce the need for work.

Just don’t work for those companies. They’re lying to someone - you, the investors, or themselves - and you’re better off elsewhere.

For some of the compensations I have heard, 996 sounds light. I I would expect a bit more commitment, 697 for example.
