Hi HN,

I'm Justin Li, a 22-year-old student and software engineer from Taiwan. During university, I interned at several companies and used project management platforms like Jira, Trello, and ClickUp. While these tools are great for teams, I found them too complex for managing my own side projects, club activities, or schoolwork as a solo user.

This experience inspired me to create Herewegoal—a lightweight, project-oriented task manager designed for individuals like students, freelancers, and solo entrepreneurs. My goal was to make something clear and straightforward, with no setup required. You can start organizing and tracking your projects right away, and even share tasks with others without them needing to sign up—kind of like sharing a Google Doc.

A bit about the name: "Herewegoal" is a playful twist on "Here we go" and "goal"—meant to give users a sense of energy and focus on achieving their goals.

Key features:

Organize tasks by project, not just lists

Track progress visually

Share tasks easily, no sign-up needed for collaborators

Minimal, distraction-free interface

This is my first software company project, and I built it to help people like myself manage projects and tasks more effectively. I’d love your feedback, suggestions, or questions—your thoughts will help me make Herewegoal better!

Thanks for checking it out!
