Karaoke in cars heralds the triumph of Chinese firms

I 100% do karaoke (or rather, sing along) in the car with my family and love it.

But why does this need to be built-in when any smartphone would do?

(The article isn't really about karaoke, just wanted to vent about creeping featurism in cars)
