Will be curious to know how long someone can live with cancer in their bones like this. In the old days this was a quick death sentence but it seems like prostate cancer is increasingly treatable no matter how advanced

Well, my understanding is that localized prostate cancers tend to be slow-moving. Hence, depending on patient age, treatment is more likely to harm the patient than the cancer itself, and this has been the situation for some time.
Obviously once cancer has metastasized, it’s a whole other story.
