What an utterly pointless and disrespectful NPR article. She's 80. Give her some grace and don't run this story with all the personal details while she's alive?

Did you actually read the article? The "personal details" is an image of her missing person poster and those details are almost certainly no longer pertinent given they describe a woman of 20 and not one of 83. Sex, "race" and eye colour are likely the only details that haven't changed. No one is identifying her from that.
