Microsoft's new Surface devices ditch magnetic charging port for USB-C

This is sad. It was Microsoft that put pressure on Apple to bring back MagSafe on MacBook. I also remember their engineers commented on HN how much work required to get it all perfect.

I wonder if they have solved all the USB-C Charging issues.
