Social media apps: Your experience so far

Hey there, I wanted to get your opinion and views on the social media landscape. How do you feel about X? Are you excited about OpenAI's potential social media app proposal? (Solved the long term data consumption to refine AI models) Do you think Instagram is dead?

Does anybody have any experience with the fediverse social media apps? which do you use, and how's the visibility when you post?

I stopped using purpose-made social media a number of years ago and it seriously improved my quality of life. I'm certainly not going to say it would do the same for anyone I don't know, but it's an option I think is worth considering.
