Unfortunately, younger people are also less likely to spend time outside and experience any sign of change.

The oldest people are also going to spend less time outside (less recreation), as well as lower circulation and metabolism making them generally feel colder.

I've had some friends who grew up in rural villages around Bangalore, went to school in that city, then got more education in the west and wound up working for startups. If you've been on a journey like that, your whole sense of calibration will be off.

But yeah, my wife spends almost all her time working outdoors and she is very emotionally affected by dry summers and the effect it has on the landscape, plants and animals.
